Security & Facilities Support UK Ltd was established in 2017. The company completed extensive research and development into the Security Industry, to identify its weaknesses and the opportunities that arose from them, we identified a genuine requirement for an adaptive, progressive, avant-garde security organization.

Our service provision has today evolved into two specialist divisions under one, expertly organized group. Canine Services incorporating General Protection, Specialist Detection and Canine Training; and Special Services – incorporating Surveillance/Investigations, Close Protection and manned Guarding and CCTV and Drones.

General protection dogs are what the name states, protection of clients and their assets they are a proven deterrent to the criminal minded.

All K9 teams are trained to a very high standard and accredited with Nasdu qualification, they also comply with SIA and British standards, the team completes monthly CT training to ensure any new practice and old skills are maintained to a world-class standard.

Demonstrations of different breeds are available, some of the company handlers are decorated handlers, we have a mixture of male and female handlers, also ex-military and police
 

SFS SPECIALISED DETECTION

we provide specialized detection dogs, trained on very specific scents and substances to suit our customer’s individual requirements.

Our teams are usually deployed in challenging environments such as airports, transportation hubs, leisure venues, and critical national infrastructure sites, however, with the versatility of the team, most environments can be managed.

The list of substances we have training capabilities in includes (but is not limited to):
• Explosives – As per Home Office guidelines
• Drugs – illicit or prescription

Paul Brookes

Managing Director

Following a six-year career in the British Army, which saw Paul serving operationally in Northern Ireland, Kenya, and Cyprus, he became a Canine handler and Close Protection Operator, where he quickly became known for his capabilities and professionalism, Paul soon became a provider of Canine teams and security officers for other providers. In 2017 Paul re-launched his company with a fresh outlook and ACS and ISO accreditation being a priority, he has worked within security management for over, Fifteen years. Working closely with clients, industry leaders, and regulatory authorities to understand the market’s challenges and commercial requirements, whilst developing priorities, resources, and business models by directing his senior management team. Paul has successfully directed and managed the re-branding and market position of Security and Facilities Support UK Ltd.

 

As Managing Director Paul provides the company with an unrivalled combination of experience in operations, leadership, and management. It has been these foundations that have resulted in Paul Directing one of the most successful Canine Security Companies within the UK. Paul is a proven high achiever within the commercial security industry, able to coordinate concurrent business opportunities, whilst sustaining the highest level of delivery and client satisfaction. Paul has the coordination of all facets of the Company consistent with the strategic intention and operational requirements; strategy evaluation, whilst ensuring continued liaison with all stakeholders.

Terry Finlay

Operations Director

Terry served in the British army for 24 years. During his service, Terry deployed operationally throughout the world including Iraq, Afghanistan, Central America, the Middle East, Northern Ireland, including diplomatic and asset protection. Having left the Military Terry started work within the Close Protection industry supporting A list clients throughout the UK, Terry then went to work within the nuclear sector working as head of training for projects and security and as part of the security upgrade of the nuclear site, Terry was responsible for working with all contractor’s and clients ensuring that all systems and procedures complied with national and international regulations, the site was responsible for hosting multi-agency counter-terrorism training exercises as part of the government's counter-terrorism strategy.

 

Terry worked closely with the Office of Nuclear Regulation, Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure, and other government departments. Terry and his team were responsible for the first private security company being accredited with ISO 9001 on a nuclear site. Terry joined Security and Facilities Support in 2017 as operations Director and was tasked with gaining an Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) and ISO 9001 to ensure the company provided a professional reliable trustworthy brand to all clients.

Nick Beech

Commercial Manager

After gaining his SIA License in 2010, Nick began work as a door supervisor at clubs in the Nuneaton area. During this period he gained valuable people skills which prepared him to react and diffuse any given situation. He then moved into static security with a local company with whom he then quickly worked his way up the career ladder covering all positions within the company. Recognizing Nicks's potential he was promoted to deputy operations manager and finally operations manager in 2017 is solely responsible for every aspect of the department. his versatility and problem-solving skills have helped him to adapt to any situation presented. After building a good relationship with suppliers, Nick moved to Security & Facilities Support UK, In January 2018 since his move Nick has grown in the position.

Nick is responsible for, planning, accounts, and administration and will play a key role in helping to deliver a client-driven approach within security and Facilities Support Uk - Taking ownership of services and products that are presented to the commercial market and only participating in sectors where Security and Facilities Support can make a significant contribution.
 

Anthony Osborne

Regional Operations Manager

Anthony served in the British army for 5 years. At the age of 16, he joined the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers who were part of the 7th Armoured brigade Based in Celle Germany as an infantryman. During his time in the forces, Anthony deployed as part of the Battlegroup on exercise to Canada and Poland. Upon leaving the forces Anthony embarked on a carer within the financial industry dealing with Insolvency Services. Anthony was quickly promoted to manager and is solely responsible for every aspect of the department and its staff. His versatility and problem-solving skills have helped him to adapt to any situation presented. His calm demeanor and logical approach have allowed him to make the transition in the security industry. Upon gaining his security license Anthony again excelled in the industry, allowing him to progress swiftly up the chain of command to a regional operations manager with Security and facilities support U.K LTD.
